Sorry it's not x86_64 story.

- Asus A8N SLI Deluxe
- Athlon64 3500+ -march=athlon-xp, i686-pc-linux-gnu
- 4x 512G Samsung pc3200
- onboard SiliconImage 3114 -> WD740 (CONFIG_SCSI_SATA_SIL)
- onboard Marvell 88E8001 (CONFIG_SK98LIN)
- onboard nVidia ethernet controller (CONFIG_FORCEDETH)
- onboard sound (CONFIG_SND_INTEL8X0)
- GeForce 6800GT PCIe -> 2x dfp via dvi
- usb mouse
- kernel 2.6.10 and Xorg 6.8.2
It works fine.

Also I try to use 2x 6800GT PCIe video cards
- SLI config card is Dual side
- No SLI bridge connection
- BusID "PCI:1:0:0" and "PCI:2:0:0" for each Device section
and no problem.

So I imagine SLI mobo isn't bad solution for me why
- I hate proprietary binaries -> Xorg's drivers
- I want to use modern components -> driver "nv" or "radeon"
- I can't live without dual-headed portrait -> driver "nv"
However, this environment is too slow to use
so I quit portrait in tears.
