I'm not sure what I did, but I've lost color syntax in VI... I've got two gentoo systems, each sync'd last night, each running vi 6.3-r4, duplicate /etc/vim/vimrc and ~/.vimrc files.
SSH into one and vi does the color syntax. SSH into the other and vi does not do the color syntax. Term is set for xterm on both SSH sessions. Color works for both (i.e. "emerge -uDp world" and ls both output color info). Anyone have suggestions for getting the color syntax working on the second system? Thanks!
