Hi,
Using Thunderbird-1.0 with enigmail (and Evo-2.0.4).
Both TB-1.0/Evo-2.0.4 when using OpenPGP and S/MIME work w/o problems.
Can sign/encrypt with gpg or certificate.
Maybe you need to rebuild TB/enigmail or gnupg, Have you tried
revdep-rebuild?
