Isn't mailx simply a MUA? Unless I'm missing something, ssmtp is used to send messages off system to another mail server. I don't want local messages sent off system. Among other things, doesn't that mean that the mail has to be sent to a full fledged email address? I simply want to be able to send a message to mylogin (where mylogin is any local user login) and have it dropped into the local mail spool. -- [email protected] mailing list
