Hello all! I just installed KDE 3.4.0 (masked from portage), and am having problems figuring out Multisynk, particularly with configuring it to communicate with my Palm Tungsten E.
- Proper drivers are compiled into the kernel. - A quick grep of /proc/bus/usb/devices shows that the Palm is there. - Still, pressing the 'sync' button doesn't work. I feel that it is an error somewhere in configuration. What confuses me is this: with KPilot, the manager needed to know where to find the Palm (/dev/palm) in order to sync. With Multisynk, there is no such dialog. I would use KPilot again to sync my Palm, but it seems to corrupt data. I checked the documentation that came with it, and was unimpressed with its quality.
