(I wrote it so it would automatically find the first available display number, so you can actually run it multiple times concurrently, once we get it working.) As far as the error goes, it sounds like it's a problem with FC2's X setup. Can you see if it works *from* a Gentoo box? Also, perhaps there's something about 'nolisten tcp' in your xorg.conf? Or in the way they built it? AFAIK, your X server has to accept TCP connections to use SSH X forwarding.
