I want more space under /, so I tried to move /usr to a different partition -
and (IIRC) had a 'failure to unmount the initrd' on boot... and no boot.

So, is there a safe way to do this?

I've done the same with /opt and had no issues (aside from windows not booting
after I mucked with the partitions... no loss now, really), but I could gain
quite a bit more space by moving /usr.

Anyway, maybe I can move _some_ of the subfolders in /usr, just not the whole
thing? Or can I move the whole thing and just fix some symlinks or something? I
use LILO to boot... if that matters.

TIA for any pointers here.
