Regarding my problem, in troubleshooting, I'm trying to understand exactly what
the "timeout" value means in rsyncd.conf.

The man page doesn't really specify if this "timeout" clock starts at the
beginning, and no matter what, if it's hit the client is killed. Or, does that
only start when data isn't being transferred?

Does anybody here happen to know?
