Sure, this kind of thing will work, but there's still a fundamental question at work here... Why does makewhatis generate all of these duplicates in the first place? Gentoo is the first distribution that I've seen that this occurs on. Is this a configuration thing? Or is there something else at work here? -- [email protected] mailing list
