Peter, since I point out things that are bad, I should also point out what I consider good and I consider your document wonderful. It's clear, compelling, and extremely useful. The next time I build a system, I will try your suggestions. The one thing I will admit I like about Reiser FS is that it tends to consume about 20 to 30 percent less disk space for the same data.
