libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0xb7e2b000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0xb7fea000)
I don't use a separate /usr partition, so there is no reason for Gentoo
to have prefered /lib to /usr/lib for these libraries. So I am pretty
sure this is the normal location for them.
