Brian, I'm dual booting until Gentoo is up and running well enough to replace FC2. Once Gentoo works and the family can log back in and get their Gnome desktops and files I'll likely jsut remove FC2 and reset fstab based on what the new partition numbers are. I'm usign grub from FC2 for now as it's on hda1 so I saw no reason to load grub grom Gentoo jsut yet. Maybe later. I'm letting each distro find and configure all the hardware so I think/hope that the udev/devfs part should not matter. None of that info is kept on the home partition anyway.
