Since qpkg is somewhat deprecated and might disappear in the future I'd recommend to use equery (emerge gentoolkit if you don't have that command, gpkg is also (still) part of this package).
Usage: equery l <regex>
In your case this would be something like: equery l kde
For more specific queries you can adjust the regular expression to match your search criterias.
