What you should do is put the ebuild in your overlay directory and try to
install it. You have asked for an ebuild and someone has been kind enough
to write one. It would be rude to ignore their effort or expect someone
else to test it for you too.

The phrase was "sketchy ebuild", i.e it may not cover all the features
available. but it should work and is a good starting point for testing.
to test it, make sure you have PORTDIR_OVERLAY set in make.conf and cd to
this directory, then "mkdir -p net-analyzer/jffnms". Download the ebuild
and copy it to this directory and run
ebuild net-analyzer/jffnms/jffnms-0.8.2.ebuild digest
emerge -av jffnms
Run the program
Then report the outcome back to Bugzilla.
