Yes. Emerging xmms-mpg123 and turning off MAD MPEG worked...almost. I had earlier messed with the output, I also had to switch back to ALSA. Thanks, -kb, the Kent who thinks it unfortunate that merely updating software can disable so basic a thing as xmms. -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
