Nope, no sigar.. Actually the ldconfig checks the /lib and /usr/lib directories also when they are not in the conf file. Guess those two are hard-coded. The env-update I already did and reemerging the baselayout didn't help either.. But I did find a problem with the reiserfs filesystem on the /tmp partition. I can't delete emtpy directories. fsck says the disk is ok. So I guess I go for backup - format - restore.. Maybe that will help.. Thanks nevertheless.. Gerhard -- [email protected] mailing list
