I have my Gentoo system booting and running KDE, than you very much. Now is the time to understand how menus are added to the task bar.
I wonder how new programs, such as kdevelop, just emerged are added to the menu. I know how to create a task bar button from a menu item, but I dont know how to create a menu item. I am asking this question in two ways, both manually (right-click something maybe) and automatically (all executables in a directory, or all executables in a package, or executables emerged in a certain way).
