Hi,
I just installed gentoo and every now and then the
screen goes dark. I can still read what is on the
screen, but it is not that easy. The text at the top
of the screen is very dark, and almost not visible.
The screen on the bottom of the screen is a little
brighter.
This happens when I switch VTYs or after I start X.
This computer is on a KVM, and I have noticed that
after I have been working on another computer (KVM is
set to other PC), when I go back to the gentoo PC, the
screen is dark.
When I reboot, the screen is fine, nice and bright and
colorful.
Could this be a power management setting? Or a monitor
configuration?
Please let me know what I can do. It is very annoying.
