Check some things:

* fglrx is loaded in the kenrel (lsmod).
* fglrx is loaded as the xserver driver.
* Run # opengl-update ati
* BE CAREFUL: You must not have COMPOSITE EXTENSION enabled in the
xorg.conf or your fglrx module will not direct render.
