Just so you know for the future, either look in the ebuild (you can open them in any text editor), or head over to www.gentoo-portage.com, search pyvorbis and click the "Dependencies" link, which will tell you what pyvorbis (or whatever program you've searched) needs to build. I'm sure that once you had seen "pyogg", you would have guessed that that was probably the necessary py(thon)(to)ogg(vorbis) bindings. Searching 'ogg' on packages.gentoo.org generates a lot of irrelevant entries (because "ogg" is part of "logging"), but pyogg does come up in the middle of the second page: pyogg Description: Python bindings for the ogg library Once you knew what to search for, you clearly had no problems knowing what to do (re-emerge the dependency, which was apparently broken)-- and now you know how to search more effectively in the first place, which is a key skill ;-) .
