Unless you're just experimenting, it's really a bad idea to use fringe CFLAGS that most other people aren't using. If you have have binary packages of your old versions that weren't *noticeably* broken then that's a good place to start. In the long run, you want to have most of your packages, expecially the core libraries, built with known safe CFLAGS. Zac -- [email protected] mailing list
