That's my thoughts. It about has to be hardware at this point. The other drive on the same cable is doing fine. It's not like I picked the wrong driver in the kernel, the other drive would be slow to if that was the case. The drive is pretty old to. Of course, it's not as old as the others but it is a different brand too.

Thinking about getting a new 1Tb drive.  ;-)
