IIRC, it is not possible to get a complete file list without actually compiling the package, because the different USE flags declared change which files will be installed. However, if you are willing to build the package without actually installing it to your system, you can run emerge with the '-B' option to build a binary package. This command creates a .tbz2 archive containing all of the files that would be installed by the package, which you can then browse through. HTH, Matt -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
