I'm running an NVIDIA GT218 [GeForce 210] add-on video card on 32-bit Gentoo with xorg-server-1.13.0-r1. It appears to be looking for acpid, according to the Xorg.0.log. "rc-update show" doesn't show anything resembling acpid. Would this have any impact on X performance or stability? It appears to run OK.
