I'll add what I have. I have a CyberPower UPS. It's a 1350va model. It works fine. The software, doesn't seem to allow me to change settings tho. When I have power problems, it is one of two things. Long blinks of a couple to several seconds or dead for hours. I wanted to change it so that it would auto shutdown when the battery got to about 50% or so. I don't see any need in running the thing down all the way when the power will not be back on in time to prevent a shutdown anyway. So, UPS works fine for what I need but software has a few limits. I have a Cooler Master case with lots of large fans, Gigabyte mobo, 16Bgs of ram, 4 hard drives, DVD burner and a 22" LG monitor plus a DSL modem and a Linksys router plugged in. According to the software, it runs at about 20% of its rated 1350va. This is also the second CyperPower UPS that I have had. The last one works but the plugs are a bit loose. When I got the one above, I did some work on the old one and use it for my TV now. I also had to replace the batteries in the old one after about 6 or 7 years. I bought the old one back in 2003 or so. It is dependable. I read some of the other posts too, I have always read that APC has better Linux support.
