I been reading this thread hoping I could help but turned out, you helped me. I ran into this and been working on it off and on since yesterday, in between hunting and such. Anyway, for anyone else running into this, I have this in package.mask: sys-fs/udev-init-scripts >=virtual/udev-197 >=sys-fs/udisks-1.0.4-r4 >=sys-fs/udev-196-r1 Now one or more of those may not be needed but it works so I ain't messing with it. I think it was the virtual that I was missing before. My plan is still to switch to eudev tho. Dale :-) :-) -- I am only responsible for what I said ...
