I'm not sure. I see things the same as you do. However, I would just try 
uninstalling genkernel in the first instance. I can't say I've ever used it, 
but you should be able to reinstall later if you really need it.

I'm not sure why you're doing this, but I haven't fully parsed relevant bug 
442024 (you should).
