https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374545 was opened in July of
2011 (YES!!!).  I don't want to bug the developers.  My questions are...

1) does it cause any problems?

ln -s preloadable_libintl.so libgnuintl.so.8


no, don't do anything, portage does it for you
ignore the warning

err, sorry confused this with another. this warning is really a bug in portage, the preloadable library doesn't need to be called as per SONAME due to the way it's used in apps
