First of all you should not need to install setuptools-0.7.2 manual as it is already in the portage tree. I strongly advise you to use the in tree version. Second if java-config works, have you been able to properly set your system virtual machine? The output of ant-core suggests otherwise. PS: I think your attempt of installing onboard or some other software out side of the portage tree broke something. Maybe you should try to investigate when this problems did start and what you did before to find out possible causes. -- Regards Daniel Pielmeier
