Now that you mention it, no. Isn't that an nVidia file (I'm not sure,
having never had an nVidia card, but that number looks like an nVidia
driver revision number to me).

Here's mine:

la /usr/lib/modules/extensions/
totaal 2679
drwxr-xr-x  2 root root     248 sep  2 05:39 .
drwxr-xr-x  8 root root    1048 jul 19 04:51 ..
-r--r--r--  1 root root   16412 jul 19 04:51 libdbe.a
-r--r--r--  1 root root   31058 jul 19 04:51 libdri.a
-r--r--r--  1 root root  157540 jul 19 04:51 libextmod.a
-r--r--r--  1 root root 2454992 jul 19 04:51 libGLcore.a
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root      39 sep  2 05:39 libglx.a ->
/usr/lib/opengl/ati/extensions/libglx.a
-r--r--r--  1 root root   24620 jul 19 04:51 librecord.a
-r--r--r--  1 root root   39586 jul 19 04:51 libxtrap.a

So it does look like the module is not installing properly-- did you
remove all of the nVidia drivers prior to emerging ati-drivers? Maybe
they can't be overwritten by the ATI install.
