Hello list, Has anyone got =net-misc/r8168-8.028.00::gentoo to compile? I get a fatal error:
In function ‘rtl8168_rx_vlan_skb’: error: too few arguments to function ‘__vlan_hwaccel_put_tag’ My kernel is 3.12.13, and I see that portage has patches for kernels 303 and 3.8 which I assume are being applied. But I found here [1] a patch against kernel 3.10, but apparently for Ubuntu. Can anyone advise me how to proceed here? I've been using the in-kernel R8169 module with no problems until I installed Snort, but now I have to keep issuing "ethtool -K eth0 gro off" every minute - and still gro seems to be switched on again in time to confuse Snort.
