Thanks Neil, I didn't know this. I managed to complete my installation because I had ethernet access to the box, but German (the OP) was not able to. Perhaps he should try an older version, or rebuild the sysrescuecd with the appropriate Grub options to boot in EFI with the relevant Grub video mode/drivers. -- Regards, Mick
