As it happens, I've just helped someone with a problem with such a NIC. There is a module in the latest kernels but you may need to add "fwlps=0 ips=0" to the module's options to stop it going into power saving mode and not waking up until a reboot. -- Neil Bothwick What Aussies lack in Humour they make up for in Beer!
