So the answer is to file a bug with gentoo. However you can get it to compile with valac-0.24 but it looks for valac-0.26 so: # mv /usr/bin/valac-0.26 /usr/bin/valac-0.26.old # cp /usr/bin/valac-0.24 /usr/bin/valac-0.26 # emerge dev-libs/granite And then restore the original valac-0.26. This will compile successfully but with several warnings so it may not actually work. -- Fernando Rodriguez
