[gentoo-user] clean-up root partition

How do you folks clean-up root partition, I have too much junk in there.
df -h
Filesystem      Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda3        74G   61G  9.3G  87% /

I've already removed all the files from:
/usr/portage/distfiles
