Maybe you should take a look at the Virtual Data Center (VDC/IaaS) service from Claranet. It's an enterprise cloud hosting solution with a self-service portal. You can rent some cloud resources (RAM, Diskspace, CPUs, NICs etc) and can build your own VMs with these resources. Claranet provide some prebuild images for installation but you can also upload own images. So it is possible that you use Gentoo on your VMs. You can test the VDC for some weeks for free to see if it fits your demands but you must contact Claranet before they will provide you a test environment. http://www.claranet.com -- Regards wabe
