I've come across this nice-looking little box, which seems to come with
Ubuntu so at least all the hardware can be driven:

What's the current state of Gentoo on ARM machines? I've had a poke around
the Web and found a few snippets, but not enough to tell me how deeply I'd
have to sink into bug fixing.
Several people here have embedded ARM devices; how different is that from a
general-purpose box like this? I can imagine running a tiny web server on
it, for instance, or maybe turning it into a local LAN server.
