I'm using Xfce4. When I shutdown the computer the screen get blanc, no text is scrolling down, showing which services are going down.
Though I don't think it has anything to do with Xfce4. Is it the reason the the new system is using GRUB2 and my other systems are using grub-0.97 ver.? -- Joseph
