I don't know if your error is related to the gcc version you're using. Better switch to 9.2 and try again. PS. MAKEOPTS="-j1" appears to be quite restrictive for a Ryzen CPU. It wouldn't cause your problem, but will slow down every emerge as it will compile one job at a time. -- Regards, Mick
