The BIOS and lshw -c memory shows 2x8Gig but the OS (/proc/meminfo) only shows 8Gig. I've re-seated the RAM, tried different slots, booted from CD, but no change. Last time i looked the OS showed 16Gig.
Is there anything else i can try or is it new RAM time?
