Well, even more odd, when I did the Gentoo install, I did it from Gentoo
media.  I rarely use sysrescue because it is so outdated.  What I don't
get, why it didn't work this time but did last time during the install. 
I had to set the password and such when I did the install before I could
ssh in.  So at that point, the keyboard had to be working.  It didn't
this time tho.  That's odd. 

I was kinda thinking the memory stick going bad may have messed up
something.  Turns out, I guess the memory stick going bad had nothing to
do with it. 

I'm going to update the Gentoo images on my Ventoy stick.  Maybe I got a
bad one or something.  :/
