Can't say for certain, but it looks to me like the upgrade of sys-fs/zfs
requires the same version of sys-fs/zfs-kmod, but this has not been
added/unmasked in the repo yet. I would try with '--exclude "sys-fs/zfs" and
see if the rest of your update goes through, and try zfs again at a later
time.

So, I solved it by masking out zfs-2.4.00 --sounds like a bug somewhere to
me.
