dispach-config (replaces etc-update) and will take care of your /etc file. It will make a backup of the /etc files that is changing to /etc/config-archive/ The only problem is sometimes are the configuration file that are not in /etc file: like Tetex, Hylafax etc. -- #Joseph -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
