AND, for example, there are bugs in libraries - even on Linux - check the history of security problems with, for example, PNG: GLSA 200408-03 GLSA 200408-22 or grep 'arbitrary code' /usr/portage/metadata/glsa/* Linux may be as unsecure as every other system.
