[gentoo-user] File system on Sony nw-e405

Hi,

and Merry Christmas!
Anyone with an idea what file system Sony has put on the mp3-player? They have their own proprietary transfer app - which is Windows only, naturally. My partner finally bought a mp3-player the other day, and now we are having problems with the CD on our Windows laptop. So I though I'd just move stuff from my disk to the mp3-thingie.

Personally I won't buy a Sony thing after their total f-up with the DMR software.
