You could try the following in my /etc/syslog-ng/syslog-ng.conf
(assuming your log source is called "src"):
destination dhcpd { file("/var/log/dhcpcd.log"); };
filter f_dhcpcd { program("dhcpcd"); };
log { source(src); filter(f_dhcpcd); destination(dhcpcd); };
