Not true; I've been using them together for the last two versions of the
ATI drivers:
motub -> uname -r
2.6.15-gentoo
motub -> fglrxinfo
display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: RADEON 9800 SE Generic
OpenGL version string: 2.0.5582 (8.21.7)
(upgraded from 8.20.8 yesterday).
