I set the MAILPATH in .bashrc as 
MAILPATH='~/Mail/Gentoo-User:~/Mail/Gentoo-Announce'
but still when i login no message notifying me of new mail is displayed. The 
list is long
so, some mbox's have not yet been created.. Does it has anything to do?
