After too many -uvD world upgrades without proper maintenance (python perl) I have created a total mess of this system. revdep lists are almost as large as emerge -vp system on a fresh install. I'm sure I can go through the dep mess I've created and eventually straighten things out. Would "emerge -ve world" correct some of the broken dependencies?
