I changed my Matrox G550 card to a Radeon 7500, executed the Xorg -configure command, and the created config file works perfectly. It seems that something was wrong with tha matrox card or with the matrox driver. Thanks for the help! Istvan -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
